Peterson developed these fake "Creek Stones" that are hand crafted from a special formulation of ceramics that will not pop or explode when used with a Real Fyre gas burner. It may seem silly to pay for some fake rocks when you can go out to the river bed and grab a hand full for free, but gas burners are not safe when used with natural river rocks, so we say better safe than sorry.
