Originally imagined and developed by founder Ron Levy, Hōmdoor’s clay ovens were the first handcrafted tandoors in the country. Levy began making tandoori ovens for restaurants in New York City, and as the popularity of his tandoors grew, so did his innovative spirit. Levy soon brought modern ceramic technology to this traditional cooking method, and created the highest-quality clay ovens for authentic tandoori cooking in both restaurants and the home.
